does anyone know why the diamond eclipse has a small stall strip
on the leading edge where the aileron is and the trim tap on the right
wing?

The stall strip will disrupt a small portion of the airflow before the whole wing is stalled, causing a turbulent airflow that will shake the aileron and therefore the stick, warning the pilot of an imminent stall. The trim tab is really only needed on one side to adjust the static equilibrium around the longitudinal axis. Its purpose is to apply a certain force (up or down)on the aileron system and since both ailerons are coupled, one trim tab is enough.
