An open question to all,
Philip mentioned in his SR20 review that he suggested taking one of
the traveling IFR courses. Does anyone have any suggestions or
first hand experience with any of them?Thanks,

I just earned my instrument rating via PIC a few weeks ago. I'm relatively new to flying, having earned my private last fall at age 51 and only have 220 or so total hours. I got the Gleim IFR book as well as the King DVD course and did all the prep for the knowledge exam on my own (even got 100%!) I then arranged for PIC to break my instruction period into two five-day segments instead of their normal 10-day stretch. It was intense and I was exhausted at the end of every day, but I was very comfortable at the end of the second five-day period and passed my checkride a few days later. I wouldn't do it any other way. Now I file IFR anywhere I go, although I haven't had much actual instrument time yet due to good weather. PIC was great.
